Hi, I’m Mark Davies.

For 26 years, I’ve worked in martial arts, coaching, personal development, creativity, health, and human transformation.

Over the years, I’ve become:

A multiple Black Belt martial artist (40-plus years of training)

An award-winning coach

An award-winning author

A business owner for 26 years

A surfer, songwriter and musician

A lifelong student of mindfulness, movement, discipline, and growth...

But truthfully… The Inner Warrior was not built from success alone.

It was built through pressure.

Through anxiety, emotional struggle, burnout, self-doubt, and years of trying to overcome life by becoming stronger, tougher, and more accomplished.

For a long time, achievement became my armour, my strength, my empowerment. Winning, performing, succeeding, and pushing harder gave me confidence and purpose. Martial arts taught me discipline, resilience, and how to keep getting back up. And those lessons changed my life.

But over time, I realised something deeper: Real strength is not just about proving yourself.

It’s about learning how to stay grounded when life becomes overwhelming.
How to breathe under pressure.
How to loosen the grip of fear, comparison, and constant striving.
How to take one small step forward instead of trying to conquer the whole mountain at once.

Martial arts taught me how to handle pressure.
The Inner Warrior is how I now apply those lessons to everyday life.
